What Is It Worth? An Antique Appraisal Show

You might recognize our appraiser, Mark Molan, from PBS Antiques Road Show. He has bought and sold antiques for over 30 years and specializes in vintage folk art, Americana, and fine art. He is the author or co-author of more than 25 books on antiques and collectibles, including three editions of the annual Warman’s Antiques and Collectibles.

It have an item appraised, you much register in advance at the library. Registration is limited to one item per person. Appraisals average about 4 minutes. This event is available at no charge. Spectators welcome.

Types of items you may bring:
fine art, furniture, ceramics, glassware, vintage photographs, advertising, folk art, assorted toys, metalware, clocks, costume jewelry, musical instruments, books, sporting memorabilia

Excluded items:
weapons including swords and knives (although folding knives with advertising are accepted), traps, Nazi memorabilia, coins and paper money, fine jewelry including precious gems, Beanie Babies
